Northern SEM April – Aftermath

Well; despite short notice, shambolic shouting from Dom and I and general lack of a blog the first Northern SEM meeting was a success!
Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come down and share a pint, I hope you all had a good one. I’ve spent a day battling a headache and making graphs – a classic mix. The next meet is scheduled in for May so get some water down, have a kip and prepare yourselves for more – more I say!

Hello! Just come accross this blog (found through Dave Ns blog). I’m from Lancaster (the capital of Lancashire!). I’d love to come along to the next meeting… Didnt even know the north had anything so cool!
A few questions… Can anyone come along? Is there any kind secret handshake, initiations or pre-requisites that i need to be aware of? Is it always in leeds?

Anyone can come along (as long as your not just trying to sell us stuff or recruiters… we tend not to take too kindly to them
)
No secret handshake but “buy the hodge a beer” goes down quite well..
at the moment its always in leeds but we are happy to move it around if demand sees fit
