Sure we know this blog needs work, but sadly jobs and client work have somewhat impeded progress of late. HAving said that improvements are on the way rapido.
I’ve also been contemplating moving NorthernSEM back to a week day again – perhaps Wednesday or Thursday? I know the weekends a precious and people often have plans – what are the thoughts on such a move? What’s the opinion people?
We don’t like change round ‘ere so you lot had better appreciate the effort – Dom and I have taken the monumental decision (over many ales and heated discussions) to move NorthernSEM from Tuesdays to Fridays.
That’s right, NorthernSEM is now on a Friday!
This means the wildmen/women North of the North can ramble down and our soft Southern cousins can swan up without fear of work hangovers, taking days off etc. Rejoice!
As of June (date to be announced) we will be painting Leeds town red from 7pm onwards.
We’ll see what we can do about places to crash etc this month.

That’s right gang, it’s that time again. Since Dom has swanned off to Bamboo Juice (not that I’m jealous) it falls to me to announce the amazing May Northern SEM gathering. After a surprisingly successful first meeting in April we’re getting the ball rolling for a sunny one in a couple of weeks.
So, tell your friends, tell your colleagues, tell your mum; and get yourself to the back room of Mr Foley’s on Tuesday the 5th of May for more SEM related shenanigans, with beer!

Well; despite short notice, shambolic shouting from Dom and I and general lack of a blog the first Northern SEM meeting was a success!
Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come down and share a pint, I hope you all had a good one. I’ve spent a day battling a headache and making graphs – a classic mix. The next meet is scheduled in for May so get some water down, have a kip and prepare yourselves for more – more I say!

The Hodge and I felt there have not been enough sociable gatherings of SEOs, SEMs, Marketeers and digital folks in these parts for some time. That’s about to change starting right now.
The first inaugural gathering of the Northern SEMs is on Tuesday the 7th of April at Mr Foley’s Cask Ale House in Leeds. Shenanigans will begin from 7pm so get yourself down for a chin wag and a jar of ale.
If you can’t make this one however, we’ve planned ahead. We love you all so much we’re organising monthly meetups so you literally have no excuse for not coming to at least one. Though of course we expect to see you every month.
And if you’re not into SEM don’t worry, you’re still more than welcome to join us and watch while everyone tweets about their conversations.
